Sized at 2.5in and run as a dual system, the MPI Automotive MKFD0326 is the twin-pipe full exhaust listed to fit the BA–BF Ford Falcon sedan with the BARRA engine. A pair of 2.5in pipes splits the flow front-to-back, with both a centre and a rear muffler keeping the note settled rather than raw.
Why a 2.5in dual layout?
Running two 2.5in pipes instead of one larger single bore divides the exhaust into two paths from the front of the car back. On a sedan body the twin run mirrors the standard Falcon packaging down each side of the floorpan, and the smaller individual bore keeps gas speed up where a milder BARRA build lives. It's the layout for owners who want the balance of a dual system without stepping to a single large-diameter pipe.
What do the centre and rear mufflers do?
