MPI Automotive Isuzu D-Max June 2012 - Jan 2017 3.0L Without Cat & With Hotdog.
Category: Mufflers and resonators

The MPI Automotive MKIZ0032 deletes the catalytic converter and tunes the system with a hotdog. Listed to fit the Isuzu D-Max (June 2012 to Jan 2017) 3.0L, the cat-delete makes it off-road only, while the hotdog keeps drone in check on the ute.
Because the MKIZ0032 deletes the catalytic converter, it is not ADR 79/04 compliant for road registration in NSW and is intended for off-road use only. Removing the cat takes out emissions hardware the D-Max needs to be road-legal — we state that plainly so you can weigh it against your use before ordering.
Rather than a full muffler, this build uses a hotdog — a compact straight-through resonator. It cuts resonance and drone with minimal restriction, so with the cat gone the D-Max keeps a free-breathing path and a hard, present note while the hotdog stops the worst of the cabin boom. It's the freer-flowing, off-road-only build for the 2012-2017 D-Max.
It's listed to fit the Isuzu D-Max with the 3.0L engine, built between June 2012 and January 2017. Confirm your exact build and year with the workshop before ordering, and factor in the off-road-only status. Listed fitment is a guide, not a guarantee.
Oak Flats Muffler Men supplies and fits the MKIZ0032 in-house. We position the hotdog, confirm the run clears the chassis, set the hangers, and talk through the off-road-only implications before sign-off. RRP is AUD 1451.23; send your D-Max 3.0L's spec and we'll book the bay.
