The MPI Automotive MKIZ0042 is a turbo-back exhaust for the Isuzu MU-X 3.0L (2017–2025) built without the catalytic converter and with no muffler or resonator in the rear section. It is the engine-back upgrade for the DPF-equipped MU-X, replacing the run from the turbo outlet rearward rather than a tailpipe-only change.
What does deleting the cat change here?
This version is built without the catalytic converter, so it strips the emissions hardware out of the engine-back run. That sets it apart from the with-cat variant in the same family and gives the freest-flowing path through the section. Because it removes the catalytic converter, this configuration is not ADR 79/04 compliant for road registration in NSW and is sold for off-road and competition use only.
