Why a hotdog on the manual Triton?
The hotdog is a short straight-through resonator: gas flows through a perforated core and packing, knocking the edge off resonance and drone without the chambering of a full muffler. On the MKMI0022 it gives the manual 4x4 Triton a middle path — freer than a muffler build, but with drone better controlled than a bare no-muffler section.
