The MPI Automotive MKTY0303 deletes the centre muffler and keeps a rear tail on a 3in body for the Toyota Landcruiser HDJ100 4.2L TD wagon. Dropping the mid silencer opens the centre of the system while the rear section carries the silencing.
What does deleting the centre muffler do?
Removing the centre muffler takes a silencing stage out of the middle of the system, so the 4.2L turbo-diesel breathes more freely through the centre and the note carries more of its mid-range character.
