Category: Extractors and headers

The Redback RBH030 is a set of headers listed to fit the Holden Commodore VT, VX, VU and VY with the V6. It replaces the factory exhaust manifolds on the V6, the front-of-system restriction point.
A header — extractors — replaces the cast factory manifolds with tubular runners that give each cylinder of the V6 a cleaner exit into the exhaust. It targets restriction right at the head, where the standard manifolds are tightest. The header is the manifold portion only; the cat, mufflers and the rest of the exhaust all sit behind it, so it's usually fitted as part of a broader exhaust plan rather than on its own, and pairing it with the right rear sections is what determines the overall result.
It's listed to fit the Holden Commodore VT, VX, VU and VY with the V6, including the VU ute body. Header fit varies with driveline and accessories, so confirm your exact model and that it's the V6 with the workshop before ordering.
Headers change the manifolds, but the car's road compliance depends on the full exhaust and emissions hardware behind them, including the catalytic converter. We can talk through your Commodore's setup and any NSW requirements before fitting.
