Redback Redback Header.
Category: Extractors and headers

The Redback RBH107 is a header (extractor) listed to fit the Nissan Pulsar from 1982 to 1987. It's the tuned-tube manifold that takes the place of the cast factory item, with a recommended retail of $645.
A header, or extractor, is the very front of the exhaust — it bolts straight to the cylinder head and replaces the one-piece cast manifold with separate tubes that join at a collector. The aim is freer breathing out of the engine. Everything behind the collector, including any cat and muffler, is separate to this part. Redback doesn't publish the diameter or material for the RBH107 in our data, so we confirm the physical part at the workshop.
It's listed to fit the Pulsar across the 1982 to 1987 period. Small cars of that era went through several engine and body changes, so the exact variant matters. Send us your Pulsar's details and we'll check the listing before ordering.
Headers sit ahead of the emissions equipment, so legality depends on the full system and how the car is presented for registration in NSW. We don't make a standalone legality claim on a header — confirm your requirements with the workshop first.
Oak Flats Muffler Men fits header sets like this in the Illawarra. On an older Pulsar we check the head studs and the joint behind the collector while access is good, then fit the RBH107 with new gaskets. Book it in and we'll confirm the match on the day.
