Ford Falcon EA - F 6 Cylinder 2 1/2in Sedan Rear Muffler Stainless Steel (SSMBM111MF) Fits a wide range.
Category: Mufflers and resonators

The MPI Automotive SSMBM111MF is a 304 stainless steel rear muffler listed to fit the Ford Falcon sedan across the EA-EF six-cylinder run. The stainless build is the standout: it outlasts the aluminised box these cars left the factory with.
These six-cylinder Falcons are old enough that the original aluminised rear muffler has long since rusted through on most surviving cars. A 304 stainless replacement resists that corrosion, so it copes with road salt and condensation and lasts far longer than another mild-steel box. On a car you intend to keep, the stainless rear muffler is the fit-once option.
As the tailpipe-end silencer, the rear muffler does the final quietening and shapes the note at the back of the sedan. On a straight-six Falcon it keeps the exhaust civil while restoring a clean factory-style note once the original box has split or gone rotten. It's a chambered absorptive muffler, not an open pipe.
It suits the Falcon sedan in six-cylinder form across the EA, EB, ED, EF lineage. Confirm your exact series with the workshop, as the Falcon's rear exhaust routing shifted across those models.
Oak Flats Muffler Men fits stainless rear mufflers like this in-house across the Illawarra, checking the tailpipe alignment and rear hangers on the Falcon. MPI Automotive lists it at $600.39; send your EA-EF series through and we'll confirm the fit.
