The MPI Automotive SSMBM327MF is a 3in mandrel-bent sports rear muffler in stainless steel for the live-axle V8 Falcon sedan (EB-AU). As the sports rear box it sets the note at the back of the car, with the 3in mandrel-bent stainless build keeping flow up.
What makes it a sports rear muffler?
As the tailpipe-end silencer, the rear muffler shapes the note you actually hear at the back of the V8. The sports tuning means it's built for a freer, harder note than a stock rear box while still quietening the system — the rear element for an owner who wants the V8 to sound like one. The 3in mandrel-bent pipe keeps the bore open through the bends.
