Ford Falcon BA-FG V8 XR8 Ute 3in Dual Rear Muffler Right Hand Side Exit only for selected vehicle applications.
Category: Mufflers and resonators

The MPI Automotive SSMBM502MF is a 3in dual rear muffler for the BA-FG Falcon XR8 ute, configured for right-hand-side exit only — the tail-end silencer cut for a specific exit side, not a both-sides layout.
This rear muffler is built to route both pipes out the right-hand side of the ute rather than splitting an exit to each side. That changes the tailpipe geometry and where the silencer sits, so it's the part to choose only if you want — or already run — a single-side exit on the right. Pick the wrong exit configuration and the tips won't land where you expect.
As the last silencing stage, the rear muffler does the most to shape the note at the tailpipe and inside the cabin. On the XR8 ute it's a dual rear unit feeding the right-side exit, chambered to keep the V8 measured while still breathing. At 3in it's sized for an engine that's been opened up for flow rather than a stock pipe.
It's listed to fit the Ford Falcon V8 XR8 ute across the BA to FG range, in the right-hand-side exit configuration. Confirm your exact model and that you want the RHS exit with the workshop before ordering — the exit side is the deciding detail.
Oak Flats Muffler Men fits these rear mufflers in-house in the Illawarra. We confirm the right-side exit routing, that the 3in inlets match your pipes, and that the muffler hangs square under the tray before we sign it off.
