The SSMBM504MF is the right-hand-side rear muffler in a dual rear arrangement for the V8 XR8 ute. On a dual set-up each side runs its own rear muffler, and this is the RHS half, shaped to route and exit on the passenger side of the ute. It's a 3in body, the larger bore suited to the V8, so it gives the rear section room to flow on its side of the car.
What does a dual rear muffler do?
