MPI Automotive Ford Mustang V8 3in Dual Rear Mufflers With 4in Quad Tips & Electric Bimodals.
Category: Mufflers and resonators

The MPI Automotive SSMBM644MF-BM is the bi-modal, electrically valved version of the Mustang V8 rear-muffler set: 3in stainless duals with 4in quad tips and electric bi-modal valves. The switchable valving is the whole point, quiet when you want it, loud when you don't.
This set runs electric bi-modal valves built into the rear mufflers. A bi-modal unit switches between two states, a quieter path with the valve closed and a freer, louder path with it open, so the Mustang can sit civil through a carpark and open up on the move. That switchable character is what sets this SKU apart from a fixed rear section.
Behind the valves it's the same hardware footprint: dual 3in mufflers exiting through 4in quad tips, the bore matched to a big petrol V8 and the four outlets giving the rear the look to go with the sound. Stainless construction underneath keeps the valves, cans and tips resisting corrosion over the years.
It's listed to fit the Ford Mustang V8 as a bi-modal dual rear-muffler set with quad tips. The valves need a wiring and control connection, so confirm your car's setup with us. Send us the build and we'll confirm what the install needs.
