What does a DPF-back section cover?
A DPF-back replaces the exhaust from behind the diesel particulate filter rearward, leaving the DPF and the emissions hardware upstream untouched. On the Silverado's 6.6L turbo-diesel V8 the SSMKCH0028 runs a stepped 4in-into-5in bore and deletes the rear muffler, so it opens the note without disturbing the particulate filter.
