The MPI Automotive SSMKFD0252T is a 3in DPF-back for the Ford PX2 and PX3 Ranger, built without a muffler and finished in a twin-tip side exit. The side-exit twin tips are its defining feature — it is the side-exit version of the muffler-less DPF-back.
What does the twin-tip side exit change?
This SSMKFD0252T finishes in a twin-tip side exit, routing the tailpipe out the rear quarter rather than straight off the back — the visual and packaging trait that sets it apart from the plain rear-exit DPF-back. It is a DPF-back at 3in, replacing the system from behind the diesel particulate filter rearward, and runs without a muffler for an open mid-and-rear section on the PX2/PX3 Ranger.
