The MPI Automotive SSMKFD0273T is a 3in turbo-back for the Ford PX2 and PX3 Ranger that keeps the catalytic converter but runs without a muffler, finishing in a twin-tip side exit. Keeping the cat while deleting the muffler is its defining combination — emissions hardware retained, silencing left open.
What does a with-cat, no-muffler turbo-back cover?
A turbo-back replaces the exhaust from the turbo outlet rearward — a longer span than a cat-back, taking in the larger-bore section where a diesel ute frees up.
