What does a 4in DPF-back change?
A DPF-back replaces everything from the diesel particulate filter outlet rearward, so it starts downstream of the emissions hardware and leaves the DPF in place. The SSMKFD0296 is sized at 4in — a large-bore step for the Ranger's V6 turbo-diesel that reduces back-pressure across the rear half of the system.
