What does the side-exit twin tip add?

The defining feature of the SSMKFD0304T is its side-exit twin tip — the exhaust turns out ahead of the rear wheel rather than running to the back bar, a popular look on a tray-back ute and handy where a rear exit is awkward. With the muffler deleted, the 3.2L turbo-diesel note comes through harder, while the retained cat keeps the emissions hardware in place.

What's a turbo-back here?

It replaces the exhaust from the turbo outlet rearward, the bigger-bore span where a diesel frees up, at a 3in bore sized for the engine. This build keeps the catalytic converter but runs without a muffler, so the path is open while the cat stays where it belongs.

Is it road legal?

This T-spec retains the catalytic converter, so the Ranger's factory emissions hardware stays in place — unlike the cat-delete builds in this family.
