Category: Mufflers and resonators

The MPI Automotive SSMKFD0316 is a 3in dual cat-back for the FN Mustang 5.0L V8 (2018) with a rear bi-modal muffler and 4in quad tips. As a cat-back, it bolts on from the converters back rather than replacing the full system.
Where a full system runs from further forward, the SSMKFD0316 is a cat-back — it replaces the exhaust from the catalytic converters rearward, leaving the cats and front pipework in place. The dual layout follows the FN Mustang's twin-bank arrangement, and the 3in bore is sized to the 5.0L V8. It's the more contained job than a full-system swap.
The rear bi-modal muffler carries a valve that switches between a quiet and an open path, so this cat-back can cruise subdued and open up on demand — the switchable note is its defining feature. Centre hotdogs smooth the tone mid-system and 4in quad tips finish the exit.
It's listed to fit the Ford Mustang FN 5.0L V8 (2018). Valved systems have extra wiring to verify, so confirm your exact build and that the bi-modal connections suit your car with us before ordering.
