The MPI Automotive SSMKMI0030 is an exhaust for the Mitsubishi Triton MN auto 4x4 2.5L CRD, supplied without a catalytic converter and with no muffler. As a cat-delete, muffler-delete system it's for off-road use only and the most open option in the Triton range.
Is it road legal?
No. The SSMKMI0030 is supplied without a catalytic converter, so on a road-going diesel it is not ADR 79/04 compliant for road registration in NSW and is for off-road use only. Deleting the cat removes the emissions hardware the Triton CRD needs to be road-compliant — there's no softening that. Talk to the workshop about your intended use before ordering.
