Toyota Hilux KUN26R 3.0L D4D 3in Muffler Without Cat.
Category: Mufflers and resonators

Built without a catalytic converter, the MPI Automotive SSMKTY0003 is a 3in cat-delete build with a muffler, listed to fit the Toyota Hilux KUN26R 3.0L D-4D.
This SSMKTY0003 removes the catalytic converter, so the 3in run carries open exhaust hardware back to a muffler. That's the defining fact and it has a legal consequence: a cat-delete on a road-relevant system is not ADR 79/04 compliant for road registration in NSW and is intended for off-road or competition use only. The muffler keeps the note in check, but the deleted cat makes this an off-road build.
At 3in this is the larger-bore sizing for the 3.0L D-4D Hilux, a step up from the factory pipe size. With the cat removed, the run flows openly to a single muffler that silences the note by absorption and reflection. It's packaged for the KUN26R underbody, with hanger points set for that chassis, and the muffler is the only silencing element in the line.
It's listed to fit the Toyota Hilux KUN26R 3.0L D-4D. Catalogue fitment isn't a guarantee, so send us your exact build and we'll confirm the routing and muffler position before ordering.
Oak Flats Muffler Men supplies and fits this in-house across the Illawarra. Because it's a cat-delete off-road build, we'll cover its intended use first, then check hanger points and muffler clearance on your KUN26R Hilux before booking the bay.
