Stripped back to flow: the MPI Automotive SSMKTY0056 is the no-cat, no-muffler 3in dual build for the Toyota Landcruiser VDJ200, finishing through a 4in exit. With both the catalytic converter and the rear muffler deleted, it is the loudest and least restricted of the VDJ200 dual layouts.
Why delete both the cat and the muffler?
This version carries neither a catalytic converter nor a rear muffler. Removing both takes out the two biggest restrictions in the system, so gas exits through the 3in dual pipework and the 4in exit with the least back-pressure and the hardest note. Because the catalytic converter is removed, this build is not ADR 79/04 compliant for road registration in NSW and is intended for off-road or competition use only. There is no muffler to soften the result, so expect a raw, undamped tone.
