Toyota Landcruiser VDJ79 V8 Ute Dual 3in With Cat & Hotdog DPF (SKU: SSMKTY0130) Engineered. Quality guaranteed.
Category: Mufflers and resonators

The MPI Automotive SSMKTY0130 is a dual 3in DPF-back system for the Toyota Landcruiser VDJ79 V8 ute, run with the catalytic converter and a hotdog. The twin 3in path is the big-flow option for the 4.5L V8 diesel, keeping the cat in place on a road-going build.
Running two 3in pipes from the DPF back gives the VDJ79 V8 ute a generous total flow area, which is what a torquey turbo-diesel V8 can use once the factory restriction is gone. The dual layout splits the gas across two paths to the rear, and at 3in each pipe is sized for the engine rather than over- or under-doing the bore.
This is the with-cat build, so the catalytic converter stays where the factory put it, the key emissions point for road compliance on a diesel ute. The hotdog is a compact straight-through resonator that targets cruise drone without choking the dual run. Confirm the exact build and any state requirements with the workshop before fitting.
It is listed to fit the Toyota Landcruiser VDJ79 V8 in ute body. Cab and build vary, so send yours through and we will confirm clearances for the dual run before ordering; listing data is not a guarantee.
