What does a 4in dual DPF-back cover?
A DPF-back replaces the exhaust from behind the diesel particulate filter rearward, leaving the DPF and upstream emissions hardware untouched. The SSMKTY0220 runs a 4in dual layout — twinned pipework — and deletes the rear muffler, so it opens the note on the 79 Series' 4.5L V8 turbo-diesel without disturbing the particulate filter. The dual routing is what marks it out from a single-pipe section.
