Toyota Landcruiser HZJ105 DTS Turbo 3in Turbo Back without Muffler.
Category: Mufflers and resonators

The MPI Automotive SSMKTY0330 is a 3in turbo-back cut for the DTS-turbo HZJ105 Landcruiser, run without a muffler — the DTS turbo flange is the detail that separates it from the otherwise-similar systems for the same wagon.
The HZJ105 was fitted with a range of aftermarket and factory turbos, and the front flange has to suit the turbo it joins. The SSMKTY0330 is the DTS-turbo version — that's its defining attribute. Pairing the exhaust to the correct turbo outlet is what keeps the front join sealed and tidy.
With no muffler in the 3in run, this is the most open of the configurations for the HZJ105 — a straighter gas path and a fuller note from the turbo back. We describe that by design rather than with a sound figure, since we hold no decibel data.
Compliance specifics are confirmed by the workshop for your build. As a turbo-back it replaces the exhaust from the turbo rearward; bring the vehicle and we'll confirm what your registration needs.
It's listed to fit the DTS-turbo HZJ105. Oak Flats Muffler Men supplies and fits these across the Illawarra — confirm your turbo before ordering, as the flange is turbo-specific. When you book we match the front flange to your turbo outlet, set the hangers and check clearance along the wagon. The SSMKTY0330 is supplied by MPI Automotive and may be brought in to order, so we'll confirm stock and timing as part of the booking.
