A 4in single side-exit DPF-back, the MPI Automotive SSMKTY0387 picks up behind the diesel particulate filter on the Toyota LandCruiser VDJ79 V8 4.5L Single Cab (2016 on) and is supplied without a muffler. It opens the rear of the system while leaving the DPF in place.
DPF-back — the least invasive upgrade
The SSMKTY0387 replaces only the exhaust from the diesel particulate filter rearward, so the DPF and everything ahead of it stay factory. On the VDJ79's 4.5L V8 it's the cleanest route to more flow, stepped out to 4in and finishing in a single side exit.
