Cat retained on a turbo-back — what does that mean?
This is a full turbo-back, replacing the system from the turbo outlet rearward, but the SSMKTY0388 holds the factory catalytic converter rather than deleting it. On a diesel V8 that cat is the emissions part road compliance hinges on, so retaining it keeps the VDJ79's hardware as the factory intended.
