DPF-back vs turbo-back — where does this one sit?

Unlike a turbo-back, the SSMKTY0408 only replaces the exhaust from the DPF rearward. The diesel particulate filter and everything upstream stay factory, so it's the least invasive way to open the GDJ79's exhaust — a 3in dual-exit run behind the DPF. For an owner who wants more flow without disturbing the emissions filter, it's the cleaner and less involved option of the two.

What does the no-muffler layout change?

With no muffler in the section, gas runs straight through to the twin exits.
