What's a CT26 low-mount manifold, and what does it change?

The CT26 is the flange the factory Toyota turbo of that family bolts to, and this manifold is cut to take it down low beside the engine rather than up high. Mechanically it swaps in for the standard exhaust manifold and gives the turbo somewhere to mount while it feeds the turbine.
