The Radius Fabrications 1HZ-TURBO-MANIFOLD-T3 is the low-mount, T3-flange manifold listed to suit the Toyota 1HZ in the Landcruiser. Where the high-mount version sits the turbo up top, this one runs it down low beside the engine on a T3 pattern.

Is it road legal?

A turbo manifold is a fabricated mechanical part — there's no catalytic converter or muffler inside it, so nothing in the manifold itself needs emissions certification. Whether the Landcruiser stays registrable after a turbo conversion depends on how the full job is engineered and approved against NSW requirements, which we work through with you for the specific vehicle. Radius Fabrications lists no compliance approval for this manifold, and we won't claim one on its behalf.

Low-mount versus high-mount — what's the difference here?

This is the low-mount variant, so the turbo hangs down beside the 1HZ rather than being lifted up high. The manifold still does the core job of any turbo manifold — replacing the factory exhaust manifold and carrying the flange the turbocharger bolts to as gas heads into the turbine — but the low position changes how the hot side packages and where it needs clearance. The flange is T3, the bolt pattern your turbo has to match. We hold no boost, flow or power data on it and won't put figures to it.

Will it suit my Toyota Landcruiser?

It's listed to suit the 1HZ engine in the Landcruiser, with no years or series published by the supplier, so we treat fitment as listed-to-suit and confirm it on the vehicle. The two things that decide the match are your turbo's flange — it needs to be a T3 — and the room low in the bay for the turbo to sit. We check the listing against your build before ordering.

What does fitting involve at our Illawarra workshop?

Oak Flats Muffler Men fits 1HZ manifolds across the Illawarra. We match the listing to your 1HZ first, confirm the T3 flange suits your turbo, check the low-mount clearance, and seal each joint with fresh gaskets for the heat. RRP is listed at 700 AUD; the fitting cost is quoted once the vehicle is with us.

Common questions

Is this the low-mount or high-mount 1HZ manifold?
Low-mount — the turbo sits low beside the 1HZ. There's a separate high-mount version if you need the turbo up top; tell us your build and we'll point you to the right one.
What turbo flange does the T3 take?
T3 is the pattern the turbo bolts to. We confirm your specific turbo carries a T3 flange before the order goes in.
