Redback Stainless 3" J pipe muffler delete Left.
Category: Mufflers and resonators

The Redback EM-VE07-JPL-3 is a 304 stainless 3in J-pipe muffler delete for the left-hand side of the Holden Commodore VE SS V8 / SV6 Sedan. The J-pipe shape is what defines it — a curved 304 stainless section that replaces the left rear muffler outright.
A J-pipe muffler delete swaps the rear muffler for a curved length of pipe that follows the muffler's path — the J shape — so gas flows straight through where the box used to quieten it. On the left side of a VE SS or SV6 sedan, the EM-VE07-JPL-3 removes that rear box for a louder, freer note. It's built in 3in 304 stainless for flow and corrosion life.
304 is a corrosion-resistant stainless grade, so this J-pipe is built to last under the back of the car. The VE runs a split dual rear, so the delete is side-specific — this is the left-hand unit, fitted on its matching side or as half of a left-and-right pair. At 3in it suits the freer-flowing SS V8 or SV6 setup.
This deletes the left rear muffler, not the catalytic converter, so emissions hardware isn't the issue — noise is. Replacing the box with a J-pipe raises volume, and NSW stationary and drive-by noise limits apply for registration. Confirm the build and noise requirements with the workshop before fitting.
Oak Flats Muffler Men supplies and fits the EM-VE07-JPL-3 in-house across the Illawarra. We fit the left J-pipe in place of the rear box, set the hangers and check it sits even with the opposite side and clear of the rear bumper.
