Redback Redback Dual 3" Engine back Exhaust with Muffler Delete.
Category: Mufflers and resonators

Configured as a muffler-delete, the Redback K-RPM16022 is a dual 3in engine-back exhaust listed to fit the Holden Commodore VE and VF Sedan and Wagon. Deleting the rear mufflers from a twin 3in engine-back is the loud, free-flowing end of the range.
Pulling the rear mufflers out of a dual 3in engine-back leaves the gas with the least restriction Redback offers for this car, so the note is loud and hard. There's no rear box to soak up volume — what you hear is close to open dual 3in pipework exiting the back of the VE/VF.
Engine-back is the longest run in the catalogue: it replaces the system from the engine all the way to the tailpipe, in twin 3in here. That's a much bigger job than a cat-back and is reflected in the price. It suits an owner building the whole exhaust side in one hit rather than upgrading a section at a time.
This deletes the rear mufflers, not the catalytic converters, so the emissions hardware isn't the issue — noise is. An engine-back with the mufflers removed runs loud, and NSW stationary and drive-by noise limits apply for registration. Confirm the build and noise requirements with the workshop before fitting.
Oak Flats Muffler Men supplies and fits the K-RPM16022 in-house. A twin 3in engine-back is a full-length job on the hoist — we align both banks from the engine back, set every hanger and check clearance under the sedan or wagon floor and over the rear axle.
