Redback Dual 2 1/2" Catback.
Category: Mufflers and resonators

The Redback K-RPM160030 is a dual cat-back listed to fit the Holden Commodore VE–VF V8 sedan and wagon, running centre hotdogs. The dual layout is the defining feature — two pipes the length of the system feeding into the rear of these late-model V8 Commodores.
A dual cat-back runs two pipes rather than a single line, giving more combined cross-section for the V8 sedan and wagon this kit lists for. That's a flow and packaging choice on the VE–VF platform, which already routes its exhaust as a twin system. Material isn't published, so we won't state stainless or aluminised either way.
This kit uses centre hotdogs — compact straight-through resonators — to smooth the note through the middle of the run while keeping flow up. Hotdogs take the rasp off without the broad volume drop of a full chambered muffler, so the character is fuller than stock but tuned rather than wide open. It's a sound-shaping choice, not a power claim.
It's listed to fit the Holden Commodore VE through VF V8 in sedan and wagon form. As a cat-back it replaces everything behind the catalytic converters, leaving the factory cats in place. Confirm your exact car and that it's the V8 with the workshop before ordering so the dual run lines up with the converter outlets.
Oak Flats Muffler Men supplies and fits the K-RPM160030 in-house across the Illawarra. A dual system on the VE–VF needs care over hanger spacing and clearance under the sedan or wagon floor, which is what we check before fitting. Send your car's details and we'll confirm and book the bay.
