EM-VE09-JPL-3 is a left-hand 304-stainless J-pipe muffler delete for the Holden Commodore. Supplied by Redback, it's the left-side version — a J-shaped pipe that replaces the rear muffler so the exhaust runs straight through, built in corrosion-resistant 304 stainless.
What does the left-hand J-pipe do?
This is the left-side J-pipe in a muffler-delete setup: instead of a silencer, a J-shaped length of pipe follows the route the rear muffler took, letting gas run straight through. With no box to absorb sound, the note is louder and harder. As a handed left-side piece it mirrors the right-hand version, set up to mate where the original left muffler sat in a dual rear system.
