EM-VE09-JPR-3 is a right-hand 304-stainless J-pipe that deletes the muffler on the Holden Commodore. Supplied by Redback, it replaces a rear muffler with a J-shaped pipe on the right side — the louder, free-flowing path in a durable stainless body.
What is a J-pipe muffler delete?
A J-pipe muffler delete swaps a rear muffler for a J-shaped length of pipe that follows the same route the box used to take, so gas runs straight through instead of passing through a silencer. With the absorptive muffler gone the note is louder and harder. As a handed right-side piece it mirrors the routing of that side of a dual rear setup, mating where the original right muffler sat.
Why 304 stainless?
304 is a higher-grade stainless than the 409 often used for exhaust, with strong corrosion resistance — well suited to a deleted section that's exposed at the rear of the car. The stainless body resists the rust that eats mild-steel pipework over time, so the delete pipe holds up rather than corroding through. It's the durable choice for a straight-through right-side section.
