The MPI Automotive EMG156-B5 is a pack of five gaskets listed to fit the Ford Falcon EA to AU with the 3.9 and 4.0L 6-cylinder engine. It is the DSF sealing gasket for that exhaust joint, supplied in a small trade pack.
What is this gasket and what does it do?
This DSF gasket seals the exhaust joint on the EA-to-AU Falcon six, keeping combustion gas in the pipework where the manifold or extractor meets the head. As an exhaust gasket it works through constant heat cycling, so it is treated as a consumable and renewed each time that joint is opened. The EMG156 is the pattern for the 3.9 and 4.0L six, and this five-pack is the sealing part rather than any exhaust hardware.
