What does this gasket cover?
The EMG156 is the flat exhaust-face gasket for the Falcon straight-six across the EA to AU range, covering both the 3.9 and 4.0-litre versions. It seals the joint where the extractor or factory manifold bolts to the head, keeping the gas from each port inside the runner rather than leaking past the flange. It's cut to that inline-six port pattern, which is why it's listed against the EA–AU Falcon rather than as a generic Ford gasket.

An extractor gasket is the soft, replaceable seal between the cylinder head and the exhaust extractor or manifold.
