What makes this a 4G93-specific gasket?
The EMG286 is cut to the port pattern of the Mitsubishi SOHC 4G93 1.6L. A gasket only seals if its ports and bolt holes line up exactly with the head it's clamped to, so the part is tied to that one engine family. It sits between the cylinder head and the extractor (header) flange and closes the joint so the gas stays in the runners instead of leaking out at the face.
Where does it sit in the build?
When an extractor is fitted to the 4G93, this gasket is the seal at the top of that install — the interface between the head and the new header.
