This single-muffler dual-outlet kit (FORD-FALCON-AU-UTE-6CYL-2-1-2-CATBACK-KIT-INC-EVERFLO-MUFFLER-TAILPIPE-DUAL-OUTL) is a 2in cat-back for the Ford Falcon AU 6cyl ute that runs one Everflo muffler into a dual-outlet tailpipe. It's the one-muffler version of the AU ute kit, finished in a twin exit.
What's the one-muffler dual-outlet layout?
This kit uses a single Everflo muffler feeding a dual-outlet tailpipe, so the silencing is done by one box but the system still finishes with two pipes at the rear. That's the difference from a two-muffler build: less silencing hardware in the run, the same twin look at the back. It's the simpler, lighter-on-boxes way to get a dual exit on the AU ute.
What's a 2in cat-back and what's included?
A cat-back replaces the exhaust from the catalytic converter rearward — the muffler-and-tailpipe section — leaving the engine and the emissions hardware ahead of the cat untouched.
