What does twin-twin suit on the XR6T and V8 ute?
Twin-twin means dual pipes front and rear — two banks carried all the way back rather than merging into one — which keeps flow split across two 2in runs on the BA–BF XR6T turbo six and V8. An X-pipe links the two sides at one crossover so they equalise, evening out the pulses, and a pair of Everflo mufflers shares the silencing across both pipes. It's the full twin layout cut for the ute body.
Why an X-pipe and two mufflers?
