What's a centre muffler and what does it change?
The defining feature is where it sits: this is the centre Everflo muffler, mounted partway down the system rather than at the tail. The mid box does much of the quietening, so replacing a rusted or split one brings back the standard tone without touching the rear of the ute. Replacing only the centre box keeps the rest of the ute's system in place, and the Everflo muffler locates on the existing mid-mounts shared closely enough across the BA, BF and FG utes for one part to serve them.
