A deliberately stripped layout sets this kit (FORD-FALCON-BA-BF-SEDAN-G6E-XR6-2-1-2-CATBACK-KIT-INC-PIPE-ONLY-FRONT-EVERFLO-MU) apart: a 2in cat-back for the BA–BF Falcon sedan (G6E, XR6) that runs pipe-only at the front and just an Everflo muffler at the rear, finished with a dual outlet.
What does 'pipe-only front' change?
Where some kits add a resonator or second muffler in the mid-section, this one runs straight pipe across the front of the cat-back and leaves a single Everflo muffler to do the quietening at the rear. That keeps the flow path through the front section open, with one muffler setting the tone. It's a freer-flowing layout than a twin-muffler kit, finished through a dual outlet.
Where does a cat-back sit on a BA–BF?
The cat-back runs from the catalytic converter rearward, here at 2in. The converter and front pipe stay; the kit reworks the back of the system — pipe up front, muffler and dual outlet at the rear.
