Running a delete pipe alongside one muffler, the Exhaust Systems Australia FORD-FALCON-BA-BF-V8-SEDAN-TWIN-TWIN-2-1-2-CATBACK-KIT is a twin-twin V8 cat-back listed to fit the BA/BF Falcon V8 sedan. It pairs an X-pipe and a delete pipe with a single Everflo muffler.
What does the delete pipe change?
The point of difference is the delete pipe: in place of a second silencer this kit runs a straight delete section, so only one Everflo muffler does the quietening across the twin-twin layout. The result is a freer-flowing, louder rear than the two-muffler version of this V8 cat-back — it's the more vocal configuration. Dropping a silencer for the delete pipe means there's less to package on that side, but the twin layout still has two pipes front and rear, so the kit is supplied matched and locates on the BA/BF V8's factory points.
Why the X-pipe and twin-twin layout?
The X-pipe crosses the two pipes so the V8's banks share pulses, balancing flow and tone side to side. Twin through the middle and twin at the rear doubles the path; the delete pipe simply removes one silencer from that twin run.
