What does the pipe-only-front, dual-outlet layout do?
Two things set this kit apart. The front of the cat-back is straight pipe with no centre silencer, which opens the system up for a freer note, and the rear finishes through a dual outlet for a twin-pipe appearance — fed by a single Everflo muffler. On the FG sedan that's the freer-breathing kit that still presents as a dual exit, balancing an open note with the rear muffler keeping it road-civil.
What does this cat-back replace?
