The hotdog-plus-muffler mix is the point: a free-flowing resonator working alongside a chambered box.
Why a hotdog and a muffler together?
This kit runs a hotdog and an Everflo muffler in the same system. The hotdog is a compact straight-through resonator that takes the edge off without choking flow, while the Everflo muffler does the heavier chambered silencing. Pairing the two splits the work — free-flowing resonance from the hotdog, deeper damping from the muffler — and finishes through a dual outlet for a twin exit at the rear.
