The MPI Automotive FX-172 is the bare, uncoated extractor for the Ford Falcon EA–EL 3.9 (EFI and MPI) — the keener-priced inline-six set you can coat or wrap later if you want.
Why the bare version?
This is the uncoated FX-172: tube-and-merge extractors that replace the Falcon's restrictive factory cast manifold, at the keener price point with no ceramic coating applied. It's the fundamentals without paying for a finish, and it leaves the option to coat or heat-wrap the set later. For a straight-six Falcon on a budget build, it's the value path.
