The MPI Automotive FX-189HPC-S is the ceramic-coated silver version of this tuned extractor, listed to fit the Ford Falcon XR–XF 302/351 2V Cleveland and finished with a 3-bolt collector.
Why ceramic-coated silver?
The HPC-S marks this as the ceramic-coated version. The coating is a thermal barrier that holds heat inside the tubes rather than letting it soak the engine bay, helping underbonnet temperatures, and it gives a durable silver finish that resists corrosion and the bluing bare steel develops.
