The MPI Automotive FX-206 is an extractor set listed to fit the Ford Falcon BA and BF 6-cylinder. It replaces the cast exhaust manifold with a tuned extractor to gather the exhaust pulses off the head.
What does a set of extractors change?
Extractors, also called headers, swap the factory cast exhaust manifold for separate primary pipes that merge downstream. By giving each cylinder its own runner into a collector, they let the exhaust pulses leave more cleanly than through a shared cast lump, which can help an engine breathe across its rev range. The FX-206 is that bolt-on extractor for the BA-BF Falcon six, replacing the manifold while the rest of the exhaust carries on behind it.
