The MPI Automotive FX-217RHD is a header set listed to fit the right-hand-drive Ford Mustang with the 289 or 302 Windsor V8, 1964 on, in manual and auto, excluding cars with a mechanical clutch. It's the uncoated version of MPI's RHD Mustang pattern.
What is a header set?
A header replaces the cast factory manifold with tubular primary pipes off each head, giving the Windsor V8 a more open run out than the original casting and generally a deeper note. This is the right-hand-drive pattern, shaped to clear the steering on a RHD Mustang. The FX-217RHD is the bare-steel version; the silver ceramic-coated equivalent is the FX-217RHDHPC-S.
Will it suit my Ford Mustang?
It's listed to fit the right-hand-drive Ford Mustang with the 289 or 302 Windsor V8, 1964 on, and the listing covers both manual and auto. The one exclusion is cars set up with a mechanical clutch.
