The MPI Automotive FX-464 is a set of extractors listed to fit the Mitsubishi Pajero (NJ/NK/NL) 3.0L V6 SOHC with the catalytic converter on the driver's side, built November 1993 to April 1996. It replaces the factory exhaust manifold at the head.

An extractor, or header, swaps the cast manifold bolted to the cylinder head for a tubular set, giving each port its own runner before they merge — the aim being to reduce the back-pressure the engine works against as it clears spent gas. It's the first item in the exhaust, right at the engine, with everything else carrying on behind it. On a V6 Pajero that's a tubular set per bank.
