Redback 2.5" Catback Exhaust
Category: Mufflers and resonators

The Redback K-RPM15705 is a 2.5in cat-back exhaust for the Holden Calais and Commodore VS, run with the rear muffler deleted. Removing the rear box is the change here — it makes for a louder, more open note at the back of the car.
This cat-back kit runs from behind the catalytic converter to the tailpipe, but with the rear silencer left out. Taking out the rear muffler removes a stage of quietening, so the result is louder and harder than a fully muffled system — the back of the car has less to absorb and reflect the pulses. It suits an owner chasing a more open note who accepts the extra volume.
This is a cat-back, so it sits behind the catalytic converter and doesn't touch the cat itself — the supplier doesn't publish whether a cat is included, and the kit starts after it. Deleting the rear muffler raises the volume, and exterior noise has its own limits separate from emissions, so confirm your state's noise requirements and the exact build with the workshop before fitting.
It's listed to fit the Holden Commodore and Calais VS at a 2.5in bore. Because the VS range spans sedan and other bodies, confirm your exact model, body and the rest of your pipework with the workshop before ordering.
Oak Flats Muffler Men supplies and fits this cat-back in-house across the Illawarra. We mate it to your existing front pipework, set the tailpipe and check the hangers. Bring the car in and we'll confirm the fit and talk through the louder note before booking.
